Carbon60 is working alongside a leading aviation company in the UK for a Check Manager. We are looking for UKCAA B licensed engineers with type ratings on A320, 737 and/ or 777 as well holding C certification. The role will be based at Manchester or Birminham Airport as soon as possible.

The Check Manager will be responsible for the overall management and delivery of the allocated maintenance and oversee maintenance tasks to ensure regulatory compliance.\n\nNote: This job is also available on a contract basis, with good rates of pay outside of IR35.\n\nJob Description for Check Manager\n\nDelivering allocated maintenance inputs, Projects, and company initiatives to schedule.\nLine managing staff, assisting base maintenance management team, and allocating task and responsibilities as required.\nIssue certificates of release to service for the specific aircraft type within the scope of limitations of their QA044 Staff Authorisation Document.\nDeliver staff briefings and maintain progress log against tasks and updating Senior Management as required.\nOvercome barriers to ensure maintenance is on time and budget.\nEnsure a daily progress report is issued for the aircraft under maintenance.\nUndertake husbandry and tool audits ensuring requirements are carried out and recorded.\nEnsure Health & Safety procedures all followed ensuring highest standards of cleanliness. \n\nSkills and Experience Requirements for Check Manager\n\nCategory B licensed engineers must hold C certification by aircraft type.\nMust hold a B737 and/or B777 and/or A320.\nMinimum of 5 years working in base maintenance as certifying staff.\nGood knowledge of Part 145 Aviation Legislation.\nEffective communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
