You'll have a good understanding of incident management and be confident in dealing with a wide range of customers and stakeholders.
Using your leadership skills and technical expertise, you will influence and persuade people and businesses to take actions to improve and protect the environment.
You will prioritise and deliver our regulatory compliance and enforcement work, conducting routine site inspections and audits, and leading pollution incident investigations.
Additionally, you will:

• Be responsible for planning and ensuring tracked delivery of priority work streams.
• Represent the Environment Agency at meetings with partner organisations and stakeholders.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a front-line team where your actions and decisions make a real difference for the people and landscape of East Anglia.

The Essex Land and Water team sits under Local Operations and within Area Environment Management. You will be part of a busy team who perform regulatory and enforcement roles covering agriculture, incident management, water quality, and water resources.
