We are looking for a dynamic, customer focussed individual to be part of our team. Whilst experience in working within a Revenues and Benefits role would be desirable, what is essential is that you have
• A strong customer focus
• A positive “can do” attitude to help us deliver the highest standards of service to our customers
• Good IT skills and the ability to learn new systems quickly
• Attention to detail, with good levels of accuracy.
About this role
As a Revenues and Benefits Officer, you will be responsible for:
• Ensuring accurate, professional and timely case management service to our customers across a range of service areas and activities (council tax, business rates, housing benefits and council tax support)
• Undertaking non-complex casework that require an understanding of relevant processes, regulations and legislation
• Delivering excellent customer service
• Ensuring strict confidentiality is maintained, and data protection rules are followed
• Promote and Supporting Customer Self Service
• Identifying improvements in customer and service provision
