We are currently looking to recruit a full-time Content Creator to support our Content team, based at our office in Didcot, Oxfordshire. We operate a hybrid working model: three or more days from the office, the remainder of the week from home. We are looking for an agile and proactive Content Creator with a positive attitude and entrepreneurial spirit who can help us nurture this company culture. Reporting directly to the Head of Marketing, the Content Creator will work closely with our social and creative teams to execute our content strategy across various physical and digital channels. The Content Creator is responsible for the creation of social-first video content, covering both photography and video - filming to editing and cut downs. The Content Creator also supports on mini-campaigns such as trend shoots, promotional and content campaigns in the form of stills and video. In collaboration with in-house creatives, the Content Creator is responsible for conceptualising, generating, editing, and publishing image and video led content across key social media channels, including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, YouTube and TikTok. They will use their shooting and editing capabilities to make proactive suggestions and improvements to enhance our overall content creation capacity at OKA. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES · Creation of content for all social media channels in line with Marketing and Content calendars, remaining agile to product and promotional changes · Creation of content both video and still for mini-campaigns such as trend-led shoots, in-house editorial content campaigns and promotional campaigns · Producing, shooting and editing social video content · Ensure brand visual identity and tone of voice is maintained across all channels · Support Retail Stores, Interior Design Service and Trade teams through social media presence and content needs · Drive creative ideas for social first content including campaign assets and real-time videos · Create social first content by capturing Instagram reels and styling videos on campaign and internal shoots · Build great relationships across the business with teams including merchandising, digital and marketing to ensure all product and campaign messages are relevant and timely · Brief the design studio on any bespoke design elements as required · Work as part of marketing team to develop new social initiatives to drive KPI's i.e. partnerships, influencer content etc · Continuously monitor UGC from influencers, micro-influencers and fan community, selecting key posts for approval and inclusion in social plan and on the OKA website · Support with the selection of content for Pinterest · Monitor competitor activity and social trends to ensure brand remains relevant · Stay abreast of industry trends, tools and platform functionalities, spearheading the use of these opportunities where appropriate · Attend stores nation-wide to capture content as well attendance at seasonal location shoots · Updating of the shoot and edit schedules ABOUT YOU · Minimum 2-3 years of hands-on experience in a dynamic content creation role · Expert knowledge of Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and TikTok · Genuine passion for and comprehensive knowledge of the interiors industry · Exceptional shooting and editing skills: · Demonstrated proficiency in both smartphone and professional equipment · Expertise in Adobe Premiere, working knowledge of Adobe After Effects, as well as adeptness with in-app editing tools · Track record of delivering engaging, social-first content to an organic social community · Able to work in a reactive and fast-paced environment · Comprehensive understanding of the influencer landscape, their social platforms, content creation patterns and their work within the beauty and fashion industry · A creative mind and ability to think innovatively when it comes to content creation · Excellent verbal and written communications skills · Highly organised with excellent time management skills · Excellent team player – collaborative and people driven · Able to prioritise and adept at multi-tasking to handle several projects simultaneously · Strong attention to detail and brand/visual aesthetic · Facilitates collaborative working relationships cross functionally to achieve business goals · Track record of enhancing and sustaining the performance of others, fostering their learning and development · A creative, problem-solving spirit · Highly organised · Passion for the OKA brand OUR BENEFITS PACKAGE · 33 days holiday (including bank holiday entitlement), plus Length of Service increases · Day off for your birthday · Health Cash Plan · Generous staff discount · Enhanced Maternity Pay · Employee Assistance Programme · Eligibility for a discretionary company Bonus Scheme · Plus a suite of additional employee benefits including Company pension scheme, life assurance cover, free eye tests, cycle to work scheme, interest free travel loans, social events, online wellbeing centre and more.
