Company: Marsh Description: R_294839 - Construction Account Executive We are seeking a talented individual to join our Construction team at Marsh. This role will be based in London. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office. A market leading specialty business servicing all aspects of the construction and infrastructure sector both in the UK and overseas. Our client base includes major construction and engineering companies as well as large industrial groups and property investors. We are seeking an experienced senior insurance professional to join our Global Contractor’s team to provide a wide range of insurance advice to service the annual programme requirements of a large portfolio of existing contractor clients along with associated projects. The successful candidate will be joining a team that operates at the highest level of professionalism and insurance knowledge within their sectors, which will provide a solid platform for career development and learning within the specialty environment. We will count on you to: Day to day service: Contract reviews – review of indemnity and insurance provisions of wide variety of construction contracts Site visits – meetings with operating companies Client presentations – primarily focused on CAR/PL/PI Provide technical insurance advice on a wide variety of challenges that face our clients daily Place business: Collect and analyse risk information and claims data, produce underwriting submissions, review and update wordings Planning broking strategy and broke in the UK and International markets (in conjunction with our market leading broking team) to assess the responses from insurers and prepare renewal reports and presentations to clients Issue documentation including agreed wordings, placing slips, endorsements, certificates, insurance manuals and minutes of meetings Claims Service: Monitor claims progress Support our claims colleagues with on major / complex claims and provide advice on claims strategy and appropriate actions Prepare and attend claims review meetings New Business: Identify new business opportunities Secure new business in conjunction with our business development team What you need to have: Significant insurance handling/broking experience within Construction Clients or large corporate clients Attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure to strict deadlines Excellent communication skills and confidence to develop strong relationships with senior level client contact points Knowledge of Annual insurance programmes Technical competence in CAR/EL/PL/PI classes of insurance CII fully qualified (or equivalent) preferred What makes you stand out?
