Are you a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant ready to make a positive impact on the lives of students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! We are working closely with a Secondary school in Flintshire who are recruting Supply staff to join their growing team. We can provide you with inhouse trainng and we also give you access to the National College where you can upskill with over 2500 courses available to you free of charge.
Key Responsibilities:
Build positive relationships with students, gaining their trust
Monitor and record student progress and behaviour, providing feedback to the team.
Support fellow colleagues to provide and deliver engaging and interactive lessons.
Create a safe and nurturing classroom environment for all to enjoy their school day and be successful
Working alongside a team of dedicated and passionate educators to support the students to be the best they can be
Make a difference in the lives of students who need your guidance and support.
Requirements:
Previous experience working with students with SEMH needs is desirable
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
An enhanced DBS is required or we can put this in process for you.
EWC registration is required for all candidates working in Schools in North Wales
