Influence global sourcing strategies while managing the complexities of short shelf-life fresh produce. Key Responsibilities : Manage & grow a portfolio of retail, foodservice, and B2B accounts. Lead commercial strategy to drive sales, margin contribution, and cost efficiency. Develop sustainable joint business plans with customers, ensuring security of supply and value-driven sourcing. Collaborate cross-functionally with Technical, Procurement, and Supply Chain teams. Monitor market trends & competitor insights to identify new business opportunities. Ensure financial accuracy, including timely invoicing and debtor management. Drive service excellence through forecasting accuracy, promotions, and brand protection. What Were Looking For: Proven commercial experience in the UK Fresh Produce industry (fruits, vegetables, or chilled categories preferred). Strong track record in account management, contract negotiation, and sales growth. Experience working within global supply chains and short shelf-life food categories. Deep understanding of customer requirements, EPOS data, and market trends. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume, and low-margin trading environment. Strong analytical, project management, and commercial decision-making skills. Advanced MS Office skills Knowledge of BRC, Global GAP, LEAF, and ethical sourcing standards. Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel as required.
