Working in Financial Services you will provide support to our Assessors and Electoral Registration Office (AERO)
AERO is based in the City Chambers in Glasgow City Centre and is responsible for assessing the value of property in the city for the purposes of collecting taxes. They are also responsible for maintaining the Electoral Register which is a record of all people who are eligible to vote in the Glasgow.

Providing excellent customer service is a priority for us and we want to make sure that all our customers are dealt with in a friendly, polite and professional way. You will also provide administrative support to the team, helping out with a variety of tasks in a busy admin environment.

We are recruiting for a Business Administration Modern Apprentice to work in Financial Services to help provide a high quality and responsive support service.
We expect all our employees to provide the highest standards of customer service, as well as building up a knowledge of the services we provide and the processes required to deliver them.
The successful candidate will carry out a range of clerical and administration duties.
There will be times where you’ll need to use various IT systems and application to process requests and log information, therefore good PC skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office packages are important.
As a Modern Apprentice, as well as working in your day-to-day role, you will be studying towards a Scottish Vocational Qualification (SVQ). During your apprenticeship you will work towards your qualification, whilst being able to apply your learning to the real-life business environment. In turn, you will receive first class training, excellent conditions and experience of working in one of Glasgow’s leading employers.
Carry out day to day general clerical and administration duties including filing, photocopying, responding to emails, answering calls, input to databases ensuring all data is accurately recorded, whilst always providing the highest standards of customer service to everyone using our services.
