We are seeking an accounts assistant to join our independent veterinary practice.
As part of our accounts team, you will be responsible for credit control and debt collection across our 6 veterinary practices, as well as assisting our accounts manager in the day to day running of the department.
You will primarily work out of our Uppingham practice but will also be required to visit our other branches across Rutland and Leicestershire to provide assistance to the branch managers regarding debts as well as delivering accounts training to the teams.
Our ideal candidate will:
* Have experience and competence with different packages including Microsoft Office and Xero.
* Be confident, approachable and have a good telephone manner.
* Have the ability to stay calm and prioritise workload under pressure.
* Be self-motivated and hardworking with a positive attitude.
* Have excellent attention to detail.
* Work well as part of a team.
Experience:
* Experience for this position is essential; the successful applicant will be AAT qualified, minimum level 2.
* Knowledge of the veterinary industry would be beneficial to this role but not essential as training can be provided.
