We are delighted to be exclusively supporting a highly regarded consultancy in their search for a First Aid Trainer to join their growing team. This is a newly created role in response to increased demand, offering an excellent opportunity for a personable and well-organised trainer to make a real impact.
This is a hybrid role, with remote working and travel across the Midlands (with very occasional travel further afield).
The Role:
As a First Aid Trainer, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and high-quality training sessions to a range of clients across various sectors. You will ensure participants gain essential first aid skills and knowledge, empowering them to respond effectively in emergency situations.
If you hold additional training qualifications, such as EpiPen training or Mental Health First Aid (MHFA), this would be highly advantageous.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive first aid training to diverse groups, ensuring clarity and engagement.
Adapt teaching methods to suit different learning styles and participant needs.
Keep training materials up to date with current first aid regulations and best practices.
Maintain accurate training records, including attendance and assessment results.
Stay informed on advancements in first aid and incorporate relevant updates into training delivery.
Key Skills & Experience:
Valid First Aid certification (essential).
Level 3 Award in Education (Qualsafe-accredited) or equivalent (essential).
Experience in delivering First Aid training (preferred).
Additional qualifications in EpiPen use or Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) (desirable).
Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple training sessions effectively.
Strong IT skills for preparing presentations and training documentation.
Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to engage and motivate learners.
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the Midlands and occasionally further afield.
