The successful candidate will work closely with patients and the multidisciplinary team to assist in the rehabilitation process, focusing on major trauma orthopaedics, plastics, and neurotrauma. What will your responsibilities be : As a Band 3 Therapy Assistant, the role involves supporting patients in joint and independent exercises, functional tasks, and rehabilitation activities. Assisting in the management of equipment and splinting, ensuring all tools and devices are used safely and effectively, is essential. Duties include preparing treatment areas, maintaining accurate patient records, and providing encouragement and support to patients throughout their rehabilitation journey. Collaboration with therapists to implement individualised care plans and contributing to the overall efficiency of the therapy team is also required. Qualifications and Experiences: Experience in major trauma orthopaedics, plastics, and neurotrauma Ability to work with patients on joint and independent exercises, functional tasks, etc. Proficiency in equipment and splinting management Strong organizational and time management skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Commitment to providing high-quality patient care Previous experience in a healthcare setting is desirable Why work with Pulse?
