Ready to dive into a hands-on, exciting role where you can make a real impact? We are on the lookout for a dynamic, driven eCommerce Coordinator to join our Marketing team.
Reporting to the Marketing Manager, you'll be responsible for executing the business's eCommerce strategy to enhance the digital marketing experience and drive online sales. This is a hands-on role, so roll up those sleeves! You’ll be managing and updating the online product catalogue, analysing website traffic and user engagement metrics, and liaising with various teams to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
This is a busy role with lots to do! Predominately office-based with scope for hybrid working once established in role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing promotional campaigns, collaborating with 3rd party IT specialists to maintain website functionality, as well as analysing website traffic and user engagement metrics to identify trends, optimise performance, and improve the customer shopping experience. By facilitating cross-departmental communication, you will ensure alignment of eCommerce strategies with overall business goals.
We’re looking for you to bring your creative flair, as part of this role will involve providing our distribution partners with engaging and accurate content for their online catalogues and eCommerce platforms, ensuring optimal representation of our product range.
What are we looking for? You will have previous experience in an eCommerce role or a related field, such as Sales, and will be familiar with popular eCommerce platforms such as Shopify, alongside being competent in basic web design principles. You will be proficient in marketing software and tools, such as CRM systems, marketing automation platforms, and analytic tools like Google Analytics. You may have previous experience in photo editing and graphic design, which would be advantageous skills to bring to this role.
Digital Marketing skills are important, and we need you to have a strong understanding of SEO and SEM, alongside understanding market research and data analysis, having the ability to interpret data to allow you to make sound data-driven decisions. You will also have experience in planning and executing online promotional campaigns, email marketing, and social media marketing.
It's not all about the technical skills and experience though, you will need to be an excellent communicator, with both written communication and interpersonal skills, who can build relationships with stakeholders at all levels. With this being such a busy and varied role, you must be able to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, troubleshoot technical issues, resolve operational problems, and deal with customer complaints effectively – so being a proactive and self-motivated individual will be a real benefit.
In return, you’ll join a supportive and collaborative team in a role that’s as varied as it is rewarding. If you love building relationships and driving sales, we want to hear from you!
