Fleet Operational Compliance Manager ScottishPower HQ, Glasgow From £42,800-53,500 10%performance bonus single healthcare Hybrid Working, Permanent Help us create a better future, quicker ScottishPower are hiring Fleet Operational Compliance Manager to oversee fleet operations (circa 1300 vehicles) ensuring the fleet remains compliant with all transportation regulatory standards in the UK by developing, implementing and monitoring compliance programs. What you’ll be doing Sitting within our corporate business’ General Services (GSUK) function, the Fleet Operational Compliance Manager will be responsible for maintaining high standards in fleet operations and ensure compliance with UK transport regulations. Overseeing fleet operations to ensure compliance with UK transportation regulations. Developing and implementing compliance programs to monitor and maintain standards. Auditing vehicle inspections, licensing, and documentation to ensure legal adherence. Promoting safety, efficiency, and operational excellence within the fleet. Engaging with internal stakeholders to guide on best practices for Operator Licence Compliance. Collaborating with maintenance and support services to promote compliance processes. Conducting quarterly audits to evidence compliance achievements. Implement data analytics to identify trends and areas for improvement in compliance and operational efficiency. Promote continuous improvement by regularly reviewing and updating compliance programs to adapt to any changes in regulations or operational needs. Working with the Health & Safety team to develop monitoring systems and escalation processes for non-compliance. What you’ll bring Comprehensive knowledge of UK & EU transport regulations. Track record of managing compliance in a fleet environment alongside fleet management systems and software. Excellent supplier relationship management skills Strong management, influencing and interpersonal skills, with ability to communicate effectively at all levels. Broad understanding of the British Vehicle Rental & Leasing Association standard or equivalent experience Ability to manage own performance, with a significant focus on delivery and an ability to balance a varied and challenging workload, whilst producing high quality results in demanding timeframes Special Requirements: Flexibility to work out-with normal working hours regularly to deal with planned workload or in response to emergency plans/business continuity/disaster recovery.
