Audit Senior – Accountancy Practice – Surrey

About the Opportunity:
In this role you will work with the team to ensure timely and accurate delivery of technical audit and other accountancy services. This will include:
1. Supporting seniors on larger assignments:
2. Completing tasks allocated to standard required by senior.
3. Receiving feedback & discussing this with the senior, learning from this to apply next time.
4. Running smaller assignments with assistance from other members of the team as required:
5. Liaising with clients to assist with planning and to complete assignments.
About the Responsibilities:
1. Completing assignments for managers & supervisors to level required.
2. Delegating tasks to new trainees and providing on-going feedback.
3. Acting as role model for new trainees.
4. Completion and submission of timesheets within set deadlines.
5. Building relationships with clients and maintaining client confidentiality outside the office including on client premises.
6. Supporting Seniors.
7. Reporting to Supervisors and Managers.
8. Delegating work to new trainees.
About the Applicant:
The ideal person for this role will be well organised and able to work to agreed timescales, whilst having the ability to actively engage with clients. You will:
1. Have proven experience within Practice in Audit & Accounts.
2. Be studying towards ACA, ACCA (Professional Stage).
3. Be technically proficient in audit with excellent attention to detail.
4. Be adept at team management.
5. Possess excellent communication and advisory skills. Confident working alongside senior management.
6. Have a can-do attitude to problem-solving.
7. Utilise effective use of IT including Excel, audit and accounts packages (CCH Accounts Production, CCH Audit Automation), Outlook, CCH Practice Management.
