Job Title and Responsibilities
The Engineering Instructor will deliver well-planned and engaging practical and theoretical learning sessions, covering Vocational and Work-related skills.
Key Responsibilities:
* Create and deliver high-quality learning programmes, schemes of work, lesson plans, and materials to meet learner needs.
* Contribute to internal verification, assessment, and standardisation of work processes for continuous improvement.
* Maintain accurate learner tracking records according to company and awarding body requirements.
* Provide information on learner progress, achievements, and support needs.
* Ensure a safe and healthy learning environment by effectively managing the delivery space.
* Follow guidance on managing learner behavior and contribute to its management.
* Maintain resources and consumable items in line with managerial agreements.
Qualifications and Requirements
* A minimum Level 2 accreditation in Literacy, Numeracy, and ICT.
* A relevant Level 2 Engineering qualification for teaching.
* A Level 3 teaching qualification (or willingness to obtain one).
* An Assessors Award (or willingness to obtain it).
* Experience in PLC programming.
