About this opportunity:
Established in 1997, we're LBG’s retail stockbroking arm providing an execution-only share dealing service to half a million customers. With substantial investment being made over the coming years in a new platform and improved customer journeys, we're poised for significant growth.
Our Stockbroking Commercial Team is the heart of this transformation. We're responsible for delivering the sales plan for Stockbroking by understanding customer behaviour, crafting impactful marketing initiatives and collaborating with Marketing, Products and Digital to bring these initiatives to life.
As Commercial Reporting Manager, you'll help us understand our existing customer base to tailor our services and propositions to their needs.
What you’ll be doing:
* Lead the analysis of customer and commercial activity, focusing on customer behaviour, performance against our commercial plan, and the success of our marketing and promotional initiatives.
* Develop and execute comprehensive reporting frameworks to ensure alignment with business objectives and monitor performance on a weekly basis. This will include owning the production and optimisation of a weekly commercial pack covering sales performance, overall customer growth, retention and sales funnel performance.
* Your insights will be essential in helping to identify commercial opportunities to drive growth and profitability, ensuring we hit our commercial targets.
* Interpret the external market, identifying trends and competitors’ strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
* Plus, you'll dig deep to understand why customers are leaving and help develop strategies to boost retention and engagement.

What you’ll need:
* Capable of interpreting data, understanding its implications, and providing comprehensive analysis to help the team identify commercial opportunities and threats.
* Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint and ideally, knowledge of Power BI. Knowledge of Adobe Analytics would be beneficial. A strong desire to develop these areas.
* Outstanding interpersonal skills, strong organisational abilities, and adept at managing a high volume of requests simultaneously.
* Unafraid to challenge the status quo and continuously seek improvement, always striving to exceed expectations.
* Specialist product and technical knowledge in one or more of the following areas is beneficial but not essential: Investments, Stockbroking, Pensions, or Wealth.
