Driver Hire Gatwick is currently looking for a highly organized and proactive Transport Admin Support to work with a prestigious client in the transport industry. This is a temporary position with the potential for the role to become permanent based on performance and business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide administrative support to the transport team.
* Manage and maintain accurate records of deliveries, schedules, and fleet information.
* Coordinate with drivers and clients to ensure smooth operations.
* Handle phone and email inquiries, offering excellent customer service.
* Assist with the preparation of reports, tracking and ensuring compliance with all necessary regulations.
* Perform general office duties as required, including data entry, filing, and document management.
Skills & Experience:
* Previous experience in an administrative or transport support role is preferred.
* Strong organizational skills with an eye for detail.
* Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
* Knowledge of transport operations and logistics is an advantage but not essential.
