Description Driving a Class 2 refrigerated box rigid vehicle in a safe manner, delivering caged or palletised goods to RDC’s or stores, ensuring that the loads are secured correctly and that the goods are delivered on time, offloaded in the correct manner, paperwork is signed, and any agreed waste or cages is collected to be returned. Afternoon shift - 14:00 start time Working on a rota basis - any 5 days out of 7 on a rota basis, including weekends Hourly rate: £17.34 Weekly payment Overtime available You will be delivering products to local convenience stores. Products will be in cages and therefore kerbside unloading via a tail lift and Town/City driving will be required. Adhering to safe working practices to ensure the safety of yourself and others at all times. Securing load of the vehicle to ensure products are safely secured to minimise chances of damage. Provide excellent customer service at all times and to take ownership of customer issues on delivery. Carry out multi-drop deliveries within the delivery window in a safe manner. Be aware of the vehicle defects and bring to the attention of Transport Office as necessary. Attend essential training to carry out the Driver role. Keeping your truck clean at all time Due to the nature of the work heavy lifting is required. It is therefore essential that the successful applicant is capable to carry out this nature of work. What will you bring?
