Let us introduce these roles These roles involve either supporting or leading the creation and implementation of the Corporate Configuration Management Strategy and Standards within designated area(s) of responsibility, under the direction of the Product CM Team Leader and Product CM Technical Authority. These roles are ideally suited to candidates with a keen eye for detail, a good understanding of the elements of Configuration Management, and familiarity with the requirements of Def Stan 05-57 and the CM2 model. Experience with PLM toolsets, such as Teamcenter, is preferred. Candidates must be enthusiastic with excellent interpersonal and team building skills, capable of building good working relationships within the organisation. We would like you to have, leadership skills, stakeholder engagement and strong communication skills. Who are we looking for? We do need you to have the following: (Engineers) A broad understanding of configuration management A working knowledge of technical engineering or information management-based projects A working knowledge of using TeamCenter preferred Must have stakeholder management experience An ONC / HNC / HND/ NVQ3 / NVQ4 level in a STEM vocational qualification supported by considerable practical experience in a mechanical, electrical or systems discipline (Senior Engineers) As above and also: A vast understanding of configuration management Broad working knowledge of technical engineering or information management-based project Whilst not to be considered a tick list, we'd like you to have experience in some of the following: (Engineers) Delivering engineering solutions that meet safety and performance requirements Complying with the design intent across the full engineering lifecycle Planning and executing tasks in order to deliver agreed objectives to time; requirements, quality and cost Maintaining and promoting high personal standards in environment, safety, health, security and quality Delivering Systems Engineering solutions in relation to defined requirements, across the full engineering lifecycle, to a high standard Supporting developing engineers Identifying and supporting opportunities for cost savings, efficiency and business improvement (Senior Engineers) as above but also: Managing the design intent across the full engineering lifecycle Leading, coaching and developing a team to meet delivery objectives, which may include multidisciplinary teams Leading by example with regard to positive behaviours and safety culture Maintaining and promoting awareness of Systems Engineering best practice and wider systems issues Contribute to identifying appropriate resources Some reasons we think you'll love it here: AWE has wide range of benefits to suit you.
