Responsibilities:
– This service operates borough-wide, catering to new clients or those not currently allocated to qualified workers in other teams.
– Responsibilities include conducting duty work screening for safeguarding referrals, averaging approximately two days per week.
– Additionally, conducting Section 42 inquiries under the Care Act 2014 is part of the role.
– The team is small yet dedicated, fostering a supportive environment.
– Adherence to Bolton’s safeguarding policy and procedure is essential.
– Knowledge of the Mental Capacity Act is required, as MCA assessments and decisions on Best Interests are integral to the role.
What we are looking for in a Social Worker:
* Social Work England registration
* Eligible to work in the UK
* Hold a full UK licence
* Post-qualified experience
* Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
