Company: Mercer Description: Senior Health and Benefits Consultant - Manchester We are seeking a talented individual to join our Health & Benefits team at Mercer Marsh Benefits (MMB). This role will be based in Manchester and is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office. As a Senior Health & Benefits Consultant you will: Develop and maintain a portfolio of Healthcare and Protection clients, by providing quality consulting advice and ongoing service Ensure that revenue from this portfolio is profitable and to expand business lines and service delivery where appropriate Manage and develop strong client relationships and win new business Work pro-actively with internal teams to deliver client expectations in line with agreed client account plans We will count on you to: Identify business opportunities from client portfolio and your own network Provide a service compliant with all procedures and Mercer Code of Professional Conduct and the FCA Participate in appropriate internal forums Maintain required industry and technical knowledge Work with support team assigned to ensure the delivery of services to each client in line with Mercer standards Manage client projects to successful conclusion What you need to have: In depth Healthcare and Group Risk knowledge is essential Financial and Commercial acumen (including fee negotiation skills) Consulting and relationship management skills Technical, product and process knowledge Inter-personal, communication and time management skills Working knowledge of Microsoft Office What makes you stand out: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Attention to detail and strong organisational skills Self-driven and motivated with a natural desire to provide exceptional customer service Mercer, a business of Marsh McLennan (NYSE: MMC), is a global leader in helping clients realize their investment objectives, shape the future of work and enhance health and retirement outcomes for their people.
