Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Project Manager at Evolve. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of interior construction projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires exceptional leadership, communication, and organisational skills to manage multiple projects and stakeholders effectively. The role is primarily located remotely, but travel across the Edinburgh, Glasgow, Dundee, Perth and Aberdeen maybe required to suit project demands.
* Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation.
* Coordinate with architects, designers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure project alignment and success.
* Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and implement cost-saving measures as needed. Prepare and review cost estimates, bids, and financial reports.
* Manage and lead project teams, including contractors and suppliers.
* Foster collaboration and ensure clear communication among all project stakeholders.
* Conduct regular team meetings to address progress, challenges, and next steps.
* Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
* Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs and expectations are met. Provide regular updates and maintain strong client relationships throughout the project.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Project Management and Logistics Management skills
* Experience in expediting and inspections
* Knowledge of construction processes and industry standards
* Strong communication and leadership abilities
* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
* Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
* Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (May not be necessary depending on experience)
* Certifications in Project Management or related field are a plus
* SMSTS or SSSTS
* First Aid, Fire Marshall, Asbestos Awareness and Manual Handling
Skills
* Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and methods specific to interior projects.
* Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Procore) and tools.
* Excellent organizational, time-management, and decision-making abilities.
* Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
