Procurement Manager - Public Sector Construction - Central London - NEC Contracts - £75k - £95k + Package
Rapidly growing civil engineering organisation seeks an experienced construction procurement expert to join their team in a key leadership role. This position will manage direct reports and take the lead on major refurbishment and maintenance contracts during an exciting period of transformation.
As a Procurement Manager, your responsibilities will include:
* Lead a team whilst managing major civil engineering & infrastructure projects across the end-to-end procurement process
* Deliver implementation of post-contract management activities across an array of building services & construction programs
* Collaborate and build relationships across the supply chain, operating with a strategic long-term view to ensure effective delivery of projects and contracts in line with wider business strategies
* Utilities market engagement to develop new commercial models and provide innovative practices, leading the implementation of these into procurement programs
* Manage supplier issues by looking at continuous improvement objectives whilst monitoring regulatory matters
Required skillset:
* Strong public sector procurement experience working on major construction projects
* People Management experience
* Significant experience utilising NEC/JCT contract models
* Excellent stakeholder management expertise within a matrix environment
