WHAT IS INVOLVED?
We have an exciting opportunity for a Permanent full-time Administration & Support Assistant for Health and Safety (H&S) to join our dedicated team within Business Services.
This is an exciting opportunity to join the team who support our Health and Safety department based with our Meadowfield office.
The main duties will be to use and input data into spreadsheets/databases, raising queries or any anomaly with the team and/or ICT, organising and then scanning records, indexing, arranging physical storage, and quality checks.
You will act as an initial point of contact for team queries, aiming to resolve these at initial contact wherever possible, so we are looking for a professional and enthusiastic team player who takes pride in providing excellent customer service.
WHAT WILL I NEED?
You should have an NVQ Level 2 in Business Administration or an equivalent qualification (e.g., 4 GCSEs (A-C) or (1-4) including English).

HYBRID WORKING (if applicable)
Durham County Council currently operates a hybrid working policy where a model of 2 days in the workplace and 3 days at home/remote will apply. This model is pro-rated for part-time roles and arrangements are at the manager's discretion; alternatively, you can work all of your contracted hours within the workplace if you prefer.
