Job Description
Join us as a Trainee Accountant and become a vital part of our dynamic team. This role is perfect for someone who is eager to learn, develop, and make a meaningful impact on our clients' businesses.
Key Responsibilities
1. Provide daily bookkeeping services directly at client locations, ensuring accurate and up-to-date financial records.
2. Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with a diverse range of clients, offering tailored advice and support.
3. Prepare and post journals for payroll, prepayments, accruals, fixed assets, and more, ensuring all financial data is accurately recorded.
4. Perform bank reconciliations to ensure all transactions are correctly accounted for and discrepancies are promptly addressed.
5. Make our clients' lives easier by providing insightful, proactive support that helps their businesses succeed.
Key Requirements
1. Fully qualified AAT; a graduate is preferred, but we also consider college leavers.
Additional Requirements
1. Previous experience in a similar role.
2. Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with accountancy applications.
3. Experience with Xero.
4. Excellent attention to detail, a positive and professional demeanour, and a strong desire to learn and grow within the role.
