About the Role
We’re seeking an exceptional sales professional to convert marketing-qualified leads through our contact centre trial-based sales process and into long-term customer relationships. Whether you’ve sold high-tech solutions, SaaS, or other innovative products, this role offers the unique opportunity to be at the forefront of AI innovation in the public sector while building a rewarding career in technology sales.
Key Responsibilities
* Convert marketing-qualified leads and trials into long-term customer relationships
* Build and manage a robust sales pipeline to close high-value deals and exceed revenue targets
* Identify, qualify and convert new opportunities within the local government sector
* Develop strong relationships with council decision-makers, including CIO’s, Heads of Customer Services, and Directors of Social Care
* Guide prospects from trial phase through to full solution adoption
* Lead compelling product demonstrations and presentations to showcase trial success stories and the value of our solutions
* Articulate clear ROI and business value propositions
Required Skills / Experience
* Proven track record of exceeding sales targets in Contact Centre software sales, AI, advanced technology solution or SaaS sales, preferably in public sector / Proven track record of converting trials or POCs into enterprise sale
* Ability to listen to client needs, craft tailored solutions, and articulate ROI and business value
* Track record of working with technology partners like Microsoft
* Proven track record of hitting targets for contact centre solutions
* Ability to grasp and communicate complex technical solutions
* Skills to influence stakeholders and key decision makers to achieve monthly and quarterly targets
* Deep understanding of local government needs and their decision-making process
