BIM Coordinator or BIM Architect
Location: London
Salary: £40k - £55k
Employment Type: Permanent, Full time, Hybrid Working
Opportunity to join an award-winning Architectural practice with a well-established reputation centred around quality and care for design. You would be joining an experienced team of talented individuals, within a collaborative environment that has a true appreciation for BIM and its benefits across projects and practice.
In terms of projects, you will gain exposure across a diverse portfolio, with imminent works spanning across Data Centre, Residential, and Commercial sectors.
Position Summary
Working closely with the BIM Manager and BIM team, you will lead the BIM coordination of projects within the allocated sector, focusing on streamlining workflow, avoiding BIM pitfalls, reducing time-loss, and enhancing communication and model sharing with design teams and outsourcing bodies.
Core Responsibilities
1. Setting up Revit models
2. Managing outputs
3. Performing BIM coordination and clash detection exercises
4. Communicating with project design teams/consultants to ensure the BIM output follows the BIM Execution Plan
Minimum Requirements
1. Advanced technical skills in Revit, BIM 360, and Navisworks
2. Knowledge of Dynamo, API, Python Script, and Power BI is a bonus
3. Experience in CDE platforms
4. Basic knowledge of the managerial side of BIM and documents
5. Demonstrated interest in BIM methodology and technological innovation
6. Ideally from an Architectural background - either education or applied industry experience
7. A relevant degree or accreditation/certification in BIM, Architecture, or Architectural Technology
