Location: Covering Greater Manchester / Preston areas (Ideal candidate must live within 40 minutes’ drive from area)

Due to internal promotion, we have an exciting opportunity arisen for an experienced Business Development Manager to work within our Mid-Market Sales team being responsible for growing existing business within the Manchester and Preston areas.

The Role:
As a Business Development Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving sales growth within the Mid-Market sector. You'll be part of an experienced team of Business Development Managers, where you’ll have the opportunity to grow and develop your own portfolio of accounts.
In return you will receive a salary of up to £35k per annum (+commission, company car etc)
What you will be doing as a Business Development Manager:
1. Managing relationships and accounts effectively (new wins will be transferred to you on a regular basis)
2. To maintain and grow existing business accounts
3. To have margin discussions as and when needed
4. Regular customer visits to create and deliver account development plans
5. To implement and launch new accounts as required
What you must have to be successful as a Business Development Manager:
6. Have a proven track record of achieving sales and margin targets
7. Demonstrate and provide evidence of selling skills to grow existing business
8. Excellent customer awareness and ability to build excellent working relationships with our existing customer base
9. Able to sell and negotiate at all levels within an organisation
10. High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
11. Be able to analyse data to identify potential within an existing client
12. You are required to hold a full driving licence
