We currently have a vacancy for an Examinations Administrator JOB PURPOSE To provide administrative support for the Examinations department within the college For further information on the main duties and responsibilities of this role, please see attached Job Description. Post Examinations Administrator Ref S34/25 Date of JD February 2025 Salary (£) Band 3 SCP 5-6, £24,790 to £25,183 per annum Unit Knowledge Management Reports to Senior Administrator for Assessment and Examinations Location Bangor Campus Total hours of work 36 hours per week, however the post holder will be required to adopt a flexible approach (including evening work). Work pattern Monday to Thursday 8.45 am to 5.00 pm and Friday 8.45 am to 3.30 pm. Hours may vary to suit the requirements of the post from time to time JOB PURPOSE To provide administrative support for the Examinations department within the college MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES To maintain an effective customer facing approach to students, staff and visitors to the Examinations department within the campus. Processing of registrations/entries and the recording of examination results on the College LMS and the relevant awarding bodies, whilst using Examination Reports to check accuracy and reporting any inaccuracies immediately to the appropriate section. Checking and filing of certificates once received from awarding bodies for collection by students. Provide general advice on examination queries and services. Issue accurate up-to-date information on examination timetables, statements of entry and examination regulations. Carry out invigilation of On-Line tests and any other exams when required. Ensuring the security of confidential and examination material is maintained at all times in line with awarding body and college regulations and policies. Process examination invoices via Agresso or other financial software for payment and passing to Senior Administrator for Assessment and Examinations. General administrative duties including dealing with queries from students and staff effectively and efficiently, mail, reprographics, data processing on the College LMS and other systems as required. Undertake any other relevant duties identified by Senior Administrator for Assessment and Examinations. NOTES 1.This is a description of the job as it is at present constituted. Selection Criteria Examinations Administrator Essential Assessment Criteria Have a minimum of five GCSEs at grade A-C or equivalent to include English Language and Mathematics. AND Have 1 years experience of working with Management Information Systems to include data input. OR Have 2 years experience of working with Management Information Systems to include data input. Demonstrate clear competence in using management information systems to produce reports. Demonstrate clear evidence and competence in producing a variety of documents using the Microsoft Office applications. Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills.
