Role Overview:
The Paraplanner at TFP is pivotal in supporting Financial Planners by preparing and maintaining client files, conducting technical calculations, and undertaking essential research. This role contributes significantly to the crafting of precise, compliant financial strategies that align with client goals and TFP's high standards of client service.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare and maintain client files and financial plans.
* Conduct technical research and calculations related to financial products and services.
* Ensure the accuracy and compliance of financial recommendations.
* Support Financial Planners with technical queries and the development of advice strategies.
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of internal processes and client servicing standards.
Skills and Qualifications:
* Required: Strong analytical skills, excellent organisational capabilities, ability to work collaboratively, and high attention to detail.
* Preferred: Experience in financial planning or related roles; certifications in financial planning such as DipPFS for Paraplanners or higher qualifications for advanced roles.
Experience Requirements:
Proven experience in financial planning, with a focus on technical support and client file management.
Education Requirements:
Minimum of a Diploma in Financial Planning (DipPFS); higher certifications appreciated.
Competencies:
* Technical: Proficient in financial software and tools, knowledgeable in financial regulations.
* Behavioural: Strong interpersonal skills, proactive, team-oriented, and a passion for delivering exceptional client experiences.
Salary and Benefits:
* Salary Range: £31,000 - £47,000, depending on experience.
