I am working with a high-end, multifaceted venue in Oxford who host a variety of exciting events throughout the year. We are seeking an experienced event operations manager to join the team, responsible for overseeing all aspects of the hospitality & events operation across conference bookings, through to high profile fine dining dinners and events.
The Role:
* Overseeing the planning and smooth operational delivery of events
* Responsible for the review and action plan to improve delivery of events
* Build and lead a high-performing team
* Optimise sales and control costs
* Managing external suppliers and contractors
* Bring innovative solutions to the department
* Deliver outstanding customer events experience
The Ideal Candidate:
* Proven experience in conference and events
* Detailed understanding of budget management and cost control
* Strong man management skills
* Experience working on large or multi-site venues
* Excellent communication skills
* A passion for delivering exceptional standards
