This role is essential to maintaining strong financial performance and ensuring efficient use of data through our integrated Chartwells Dashboard. As Finance Assistant you will be responsible for: Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Support: Provide vital business support to the AFM and key operators in your assigned region. Consolidate essential reporting, including Flash P&L and Balance Sheet requirements. Performance Management: Prepare and support key business reporting, including month-end reports, weekly flash, budgets, and ad-hoc analysis. Conduct monthly balance sheet reviews, escalating significant risks or opportunities to senior stakeholders. Assist the AFM with month-end adjustments, forecasting, budgeting, and closing accounts. Provide transactional support to the operational team (e.g., invoice processing, supplier account creation, capex for IT equipment). Relationship Management: Build effective working relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring smooth collaboration across the region. Contribute to a team-focused environment, working closely with peers and managers to achieve shared goals. The successful Finance Assistant will have Solid experience in management accounting, including accounting adjustments. Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail. Proven ability to work with non-finance professionals to deliver reliable financial insights. Actively studying towards CIMA/ACCA/ACA or similar, with hands-on experience in accounting roles. Advanced Excel skills. Familiarity with SAP, Cognos, and QuickSight for analysis and reporting. Adaptability to thrive in a dynamic and evolving environment. Ready to advance your finance career?
