The Amazon Business team is dedicated to developing solutions that make it easy for business customers to buy on Amazon through an Amazon Business Account. Our customers include individual professionals, small businesses, and large institutions. Our business customers have different needs than the traditional Amazon retail customers, and we are reinventing everything from how we display our selection, price our products, and provide the right customer experience to serve this segment.
Position Summary
To support our business growth, we are looking for a Senior Solution Consultant for our Professional Services Team for a full-time (40 hours/week) position in Paris (also Milan office is possible). In this position, you will work with a wide range of B2B customers at a senior level (CPO, CFO, CTO) to assess their business and technical requirements, diving deep into their purchase to pay process and systems, and advising them on how to best leverage Amazon Business solutions. You will provide subject matter expertise in systems, processes, and solutions, such as punchout integrations, integrated search solutions, e-invoicing, single sign-on, etc., as well as discuss new functional and organizational strategies to help customers achieve their business objectives.
Key job responsibilities
1. Engage with customer executives, incl. Procurement, Finance, and Technical leadership to understand pain points, strategy and goals for Purchasing, Finance, and Digitalization.
2. Deep dive into the customers internal purchase to pay processes and systems to understand their needs and requirements.
3. Act as the trusted consultant for your customers providing recommendations on how Amazon Business can deliver value for their strategies, processes, and tools.
4. Build relationships with your customers and gain commitment to implement Amazon Business solutions.
5. Relay back customer needs and requirements to internal Amazon teams incl. Sales, Product Management, Technical and Category Management teams, and Leadership.
6. Take an active role in shaping innovative approaches to solve customer issues and present these to Amazon leadership to prioritize solutions for your customers and drive growth.
7. Lead project evaluation against predefined KPIs, and meet or exceed targets for customers and spend adoption.
A day in the life
Start the day with an Account Manager call, whose customer project you have been assigned to, aligning on the project approach and kick-off date. Your next call is with a large, strategic customer who wants to technically integrate with Amazon Business but is unsure of the exact solution. You deep dive with the customer on their requirements and current Procurement set-up. Following this, you provide advice to the customer for the most suitable Amazon Business solution leveraging your expert knowledge in Procurement and Amazon Business features. In the afternoon, you have an internal meeting to present an innovative idea to leadership to simplify the customer solution set. You close by planning the customer engagements for the rest of the week and reviewing how you track against your goals.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
1. Knowledge of procurement and source to pay processes and solutions or equivalent experience.
2. Experience positioning and selling innovative solutions to new and existing customers and market segments.
3. Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications.
4. Experience with sales CRM tools such as Salesforce or similar software.
5. Bachelors degree or equivalent.
6. Professional fluency in French, Italian, and English languages.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
1. Experience with procurement technology like e-procurement systems and technical integrations.
