MAIN PURPOSE OF POST:
The Facilities Multi-Trade Technician will be a part of the ambitious team based at LLA and will report to the Facilities Team Supervisor. They will complete a broad variety of planned and preventative maintenance across the Airport site covering all building fabric maintenance.
KEY TASKS & PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
1. Planned maintenance across building portfolio
2. Preventative maintenance across building portfolio
3. Reactive maintenance across building portfolio
4. Like for like part replacements
5. Improvements made to failed products
6. Execute tasks that will enhance the passenger experience.
7. Be guest facing
8. Carry out emergency call outs as per a rota
9. Carry out any maintenance tasks or duties not listed here, as so requested by the line manager
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
1. Construction or maintenance experience is required
2. Multi Trade experience
3. Good H&S understanding
4. Willingness to work in conjunction with other trades and subcontractors if required
5. Good verbal communication skills and active listening skills
6. Experience working in a customer-facing role/industry
7. Experience of working to strict deadlines
8. Accurately record works on required web-based CMMS system ensuring the right information is fed back to the manager. (Training provided)
9. The holder of this role will ideally have completed a trade qualification, ideally with a formal qualification i.e. City & Guilds, or similar qualification.
10. Experience of producing consistently high-quality workmanship
