Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Radio/Podcast Presenter to host a special series of interviews with a high-profile, up-and-coming theatre star. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a love for entertainment, showbiz, theatre, comedy, or magic to showcase their talents, engage with a growing audience, and be part of an exciting podcast project.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and conduct interviews with a leading theatre star, delving into their career, inspirations, and journey in the world of entertainment, or whatever the brief is.
- Develop engaging content and discussion topics for a podcast series, exploring the guest’s work across theatre, comedy, or magic.
- Take talents brief to create desire angle and feeling for each episode.
- Research the guest’s background and stay up-to-date with their latest projects and performances.
- Create an enthusiastic and entertaining atmosphere that resonates with both talent and audience.
- Collaborate with producers and talent to ensure high-quality production output and smooth delivery of each episode.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in presenting, broadcasting, or podcasting.
- Excellent, dynamic interviewing skills with a knack for cresting insight full and engaging conversations.
- A strong passion for entertainment, showbiz, live theatre, comedy, or magic.
- Enthusiastic, energetic, and charismatic on air, with the ability to captivate and maintain an audience’s attention.
- Strong research and planning skills to prepare for in-depth interviews and discussions.
- Flexible schedule to accommodate the theatre star’s availability for interviews over the coming months.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with social media promotion and audience engagement.
- Knowledge of the theatre industry, especially new and emerging talent, is a plus.
- Editing skills are a bonus but not essential.
