We are hiring a Field Service Engineer to join our Technical department and provide high quality service to all customers while actively contributing to overall improvements in the business by servicing and maintaining equipment to a high standard.
As a Service Engineer, your goal is to limit the volume of equipment failure through correct service and maintenance. Your ultimate goal is for the business to receive zero client complaints regarding technical reliability for machines within your area of responsibility.

Responsibilities
1. Diagnose and repair faults on a complete range of vending equipment.
2. Ensure that all work is completed at the first visit whenever possible, making every effort to prevent further breakdowns. If a return visit is necessary, it must be carried out at the soonest opportunity.
3. Continually review equipment with multiple faults and ensure that machines displaying persistent breakdowns are given the highest priority regarding repair.
4. Always have access to the technical manuals/documentation relevant to the equipment you are servicing/maintaining.
5. Attend various training courses to maintain the highest standard of workmanship.
6. Maintain good customer relations by adopting a pleasant manner at all times and adhering to customer procedures, such as entry/exit from premises and Health & Safety Policies.
7. Be aware of potential customer dissatisfaction and take appropriate action (repair machine, seek assistance from Senior Engineer/Service Managers) to prevent issues from escalating.
8. Maintain your company vehicle in a roadworthy condition in accordance with company procedures, ensuring it is kept clean and tidy both inside and out.
9. Form and maintain a close working relationship with colleagues and clients to provide the best possible service.
10. Work independently and take initiative.
11. Hold a full UK driving licence with at least 12 months of driving experience and no more than 6 points.
12. Be customer-focused with a smart and professional appearance.
13. Possess strong electrical knowledge/experience, demonstrated through practical work experience or an electrical qualification.
14. Have a technical background with strong fault-finding and diagnosis skills.
15. Be knowledgeable about safely working on electrical equipment.
