About The Role
Konrad Group is looking for a Manager of Payroll and Benefits Administration to manage our global payroll, benefits administration, and employee service functions. The successful candidate will work out of our Peterborough Office.
What You’ll Do
1. Manage multi-state payroll, benefits administration, and employee services functions, and help oversee a small administration team.
2. Responsible for meeting and exceeding global legislative payroll requirements.
3. Under the direction of senior management, review and update global policies, procedures and legal templates related to payroll, employment and benefits.
4. Responsible for the accurate and timely completion of select global payrolls, required government remittances and reporting.
5. Maintain a secure HR database and employee files.
6. Ensure that appropriate systems, workflows, and internal controls are implemented and maintained.
7. Provide a high level of service to our internal users.
Qualifications
1. Certified Payroll Practitioner or working towards certification.
2. Direct experience processing US payroll in multiple states.
3. Experience in the design and administration of health and other benefit plans in a 50+ employee organization in multiple states.
4. Demonstrated experience supervising a team.
5. Confident self-starter, with the ability to operate in a rapidly evolving environment.
6. Ability to research, analyze and recommend solutions to questions or issues as they arise.
7. Demonstrated good attention to detail and good judgement showing logical decision making.
8. Excellent Excel skills and solid understanding of payroll and HR software, with a preference for ADP Workforce Now experience.
9. Adaptable, flexible and willing to help out with hands-on tasks.
