We are looking for a Regulation & Compliance Analyst to join our Energy Infrastructure Services team on a Permanent or 12 month fixed term contract based in Derby with hybrid working. E.ON UK Network Assets Limited is a new E.ON business that will operate as a licensed (IDNO) Independent Distribution Network Operator. The business will be regulated by OFGEM and other industry standards. The business has ambitions to secure a sizable market share and be a market leader in the competition in connections market space. Regulations and Compliance Analyst Here's what you'll be doing This is an exciting opportunity to join a brand new team and in this role you will be appointed as the IDNO Compliance Officer and undertake the compliance duties as required by OFGEM’s distribution licence. As part of the role you will monitor compliance with regulations and business separation requirements and provide expertise and reporting to the IDNO. Main Responsibilities of the role Lead in all regulatory and compliance activities with support from the central EIS regulations team as required. Support the development and implementation of the IDNO’s regulatory and compliance policies and procedures. Represent the business on industry forums. Conduct and support business audits and investigations, ensuring the business remains compliant with regulations and industry standards. Providing guidance to support business growth and adoption activities. Subject matter expert for IDNO regulations and compliance questions. Work with the central EIS regulations team in monitoring changes in laws and regulations and update company policies accordingly. Prepare and submit compliance reports to management and regulatory authorities. Investigate and resolve compliance issues and complaints. Maintain records of compliance activities and ensure documentation is up to date. What we need from you Proven experience in a compliance or regulatory role. Knowledge of OFGEM electricity distribution regulations. Ability to implement compliance programs. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Attention to detail and ability to work independently. It would be great if you have Certification in compliance or a related field is a plus. Bachelor’s degree in law, Business Administration, or a related field. Strong auditing and investigative skills. Ability to work collaboratively with various departments. Proficiency in using compliance management software.
