What you'll be doing:
This role is to support our female client with cerebral palsy and neuro diverse needs within her own home in Gosport. You will move into the client's home and support her with personal care (including washing/showering, dressing and toileting), moving and handling, domestic tasks and social activities.
Meet the client:
I like a support worker who takes their time to understand me and includes me in general day to day tasks such as cooking, watching the television and providing social interaction with me taking the time to find common ground. I have a good sense of humor; I am a quirky and sociable person. I like to chat and have a good laugh and banter with my support worker. I spend a lot of time on my computer during the day and I like to do this independently. I also love listening to music.
Main duties of the job
Our client leads an active lifestyle, therefore a successful applicant will hold a full clean UK drivers licence to support their independence. For genuine occupational requirements, we require female candidates. Would you like to do live-in care, staying within your local area of Hampshire? Would you like a job where you work an assignment for 2 weeks and then have a break, with the potential of flexibility of more working hours? Would you like a rewarding role in which you can support a client one to one in their own home?
