Hand Therapist - Band 6

Your World is currently seeking an experienced Band 6 Hand Therapist for work on a locum basis. You will be joining an outstanding team within a well-known acute hospital in Birmingham.


Who are we looking for?

Working within the hands team, you will provide a range of assessments and treatments for congenital hand differences and traumatic hand injuries. This includes splinting, ADL assessments, treatments to improve ROM, strength and function along with pre-op assessments. The majority of therapy is provided in an outpatient setting, with some occasional ward based work. You will work closely with the medical team and other MDT team members to deliver high levels of care.


Requirements

* Full OT qualifications

* HCPC registration

* UK Occupational Therapy experience

* Excellent written and verbal communication
