Vibe Recruit have an exciting new opportunity to join our Client in the Llandow area, they are on their way to be a leading provider of innovative medical devices dedicated to improving patient outcomes.
The technical role will be responsible for the timely assembly and testing of mobile hoists and pressure mattresses, initially they will also be supporting the operations on a daily basis, delivering product to key customers and supporting the warehouse goods inwards and goods outwards process.
Key Responsibilities
* Mechanical assembly experience.
* Testing and fault finding using a multi meter.
* Developing technical assembly operating procedures to support ISO 9001
* Testing products prior to despatch to ensure a good quality product is received by our customers.
* Initially support the daily operation, goods inwards and goods outwards.
* Support the investigation of non-conformities, customer complaints, and product recalls, ensuring timely resolution and reporting.
* Provide training and guidance to staff members with regards to the testing and assembly of our products.
* Stay ahead of customer demand, develop a culture of continuous improvement and lead by example.
Qualifications:
* Mechanical / Electrical time served apprentice or city guilds qualified.
* Ideally a minimum 3 year's experience in assembly / testing environments.
* Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 processes
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Proficient in using Microsoft Office and or Quality Management / ERP software solutions and tools.
Other Advantages Requirements
* Clean driving licence
* Team player and a willingness to develop and grow with the business and lead a technical / assembly team.
* Fork truck license
