Overview
An excellent opportunity has arisen to be part of a well-established and leading designer and manufacturer of premium interior furniture components and decorative hardware. Recognised for excellence in design, quality and customer service, and with a growing portfolio of clients and markets, they’re now seeking a customer focussed and results driven Account Manager as part of their next phase of market expansion and growth.
The Role
In this newly created role, the Account Manager will report to the Sales Director and will drive revenue growth, expanding their customer base across the territory in the Kitchen, Bedroom & Bathroom (KBB) and contract and interior design markets. The region includes all Scotland and parts of Northern England where frequent travel will be required. Monthly attendance at their Birmingham Head Office will also be required for sales meetings. Key responsibilities include:
* Execute the regional sales strategy to achieve revenue and margin growth targets
* Identify and secure new business while managing existing accounts
* Utilise market insights and competitor analysis to drive opportunities
* Maintain accurate sales records, attend trade shows and collaborate on marketing
Candidate Profile
* Proven and proactive sales experience in selling design led premium products to the Kitchen, Bedroom & Bathroom (KBB) and contract and interior design sectors
* Strong business development skills with a consultative sales approach and a genuine appreciation for design
* Notable achievements in targeted business development and account management. Track record of driving revenue growth while maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction and margin.
* Excellent communicator with sound negotiation skills
* Self motivated, organised time manager and experienced in managing similar size territories with a willingness to travel as required
