Where will you be working?
Dyer & Butler
Rail- Our Rail team manages a wide range of specialist rail engineering works and projects delivering civils, power, building services and electrical solutions.
We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager with a solid understanding of the Rail market, that will have a key role in Dyer & Butler's expansion plans into the Midlands and North of England.
You will play a significant role in the development of strategy, being the voice of the customer, and helping us to continually innovate and improve.

What will you be doing?
1. Generating new business and relationships through targeted prospecting, industry events, and strategic engagement within the rail sector
2. Setting strategic goals, liaising with business partners and stakeholders, identity new business opportunities
3. Keep up to date with market trends within the rail sector
4. Work with the bid team with the initial stages of the bid process
What you’ll bring
5. Business Development experience and knowledge having worked directly in the Rail Sector
6. Excellent relationship building experience with clients, stakeholders, and partners with strong negotiating and report building skills
7. Proven track record in sales achievement and pipeline development
8. Commercial acumen with ability to maximise margin and understand commercial sensitivities within project or deal
9. A full Driving Licence and willingness to travel across the UK to meet clients (one day in the Sidcup office)
