Senior Frontend Developer - React - TypeScript - London. Miller Maxwell is assisting an expanding electronic trading organisation expanding their London operation with the desire to hire a new member to a highly experienced engineering and frontend development team. The client is a leading provider of options trading solutions, globally renowned for reliability, speed and offering clients the highest level of customer service. As 2024 progresses, the organisation intends to expand across its digital currency trading divisions. The individual will be required to attend the client's offices in London (Located near to Monument station) 3 days per week - This is not a fully remote position.
The Senior Frontend Developer will:
* Take partial responsibility for designing and developing new APIs, SDK, and software engineering tools.
* Build and adapt JavaScript libraries for high-performance browser usage.
* Build and maintain customer-facing applications – these could be web or mobile app.
* Design and develop UI for the platform and website.
* Create web pages and integrate them into back-end systems.
* Work closely with senior stakeholders across the business and report directly to the CTO.
* Suggest and implement new ideas into the code base.
The Senior Frontend Engineer will have:
* A degree in a STEM-related subject.
* At least 5 years of commercial frontend development experience in a commercial setting.
* JavaScript experience with ReactJS.
* Experience of Redux.js, TypeScript, GIT, Node, HTML, and CSS.
* Must have proven experience building robust websites or software applications.
* Strong communication skills with ability to communicate with senior stakeholders.
* An eye for design would be great.
