Main duties of the job
The Role:
MAIN PURPOSE:
To contribute to and have responsibility for providing quality social and vocational support services for service users within a specified group at a specified location or group of locations.
To lead, supervise and develop a team of support workers to ensure the needs of the service users are met according to their individual support plan in line with company policy and procedures and regulatory standards.

**Night Team Leader **WELCOME BONUS £1000 SUBJECT TO T & C'S**
MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES (but not limited to)
The Team Leader is expected to be fully competent in all aspects of the Support Worker.
Establish and maintain professional relationships with stakeholders in order to compliment and contribute to the positive reputation of the company.
To provide line management to a designated team of staff within a specified group at a location or group of locations within the allocated division.
To undertake any reasonable traveling requirements in order to fulfil the tasks and responsibilities of the role. This may include supporting other locations within the Division as required.
To ensure that documentation held within the designated location is completed accurately, professionally and in a timely manner in line with good practise and defensible documentation.
Ensure that the environment and resources are all in good order and report any defects or concerns to the appropriate line manager.
To competently use the computer systems to enable data to be updated, managed and reported within the electronic systems utilised by the company.
To always promote service user choice, rights and inclusion, thereby enabling them to meet goals and outcomes.
Person Specification
Qualifications
Essential
1. NVQ / QCF level 3 HSC or willingness to work towards within 12 months.
2. Previous experience of working in a care setting.
3. Knowledge of current relevant legislation relating to care standards, health and safety and food hygiene.
Desirable
4. IT skills including the ability to open and send emails using Outlook, the ability to use Microsoft office and the ability to navigate the internet.
5. Excellent communication skills to communicate effectively on all levels.
6. Numeracy skills to meet financial management responsibilities.
7. Ability to use your own initiative and make informed decisions.
8. Good time keeping, time management attendance skills.
9. Travelling requirements to meet both service user and Trusts needs.
