Location: North East of England Job Type: Full-time / Part-time (Hybrid, Fully Remote, or Office-Based) Job Description: Kearney FM is seeking a proactive and highly organized Executive Assistant to provide administrative support to the Managing Director, Aaron Kearney, and assist other senior management as required. This role is integral to the smooth operation of the station, requiring someone who can handle a variety of tasks with precision and efficiency, while demonstrating a high level of professionalism. As the Executive Assistant to the Managing Director, who is a disabled individual, the ideal candidate will be compassionate, adaptable, and ready to provide personalized support in both professional and administrative capacities. The position offers flexibility, allowing for hybrid, fully remote, or office-based work arrangements depending on the successful candidate’s preference and needs. Key Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Managing Director, including calendar management, scheduling meetings, and coordinating travel arrangements. Assist other senior management with administrative duties such as preparing documents, handling correspondence, and organizing events. Act as the first point of contact for the Managing Director, managing calls, emails, and inquiries with a high level of discretion. Prepare presentations, reports, and meeting agendas as needed. Maintain filing systems and ensure accurate record-keeping. Coordinate and assist with special projects and initiatives for the station. Support the Managing Director with any additional requirements, including personal assistance, to facilitate daily operations. Key Requirements: Proven experience as an Executive Assistant or Personal Assistant, preferably in a media or communications environment. Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize workload. Strong written and verbal communication skills. High level of discretion, sensitivity, and professionalism when handling confidential information. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Empathy and willingness to work closely with a disabled individual, providing support that meets their specific needs. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace. Strong interpersonal skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor. Good understanding of disabilities.
