About The Role
EKFB is proud to have been appointed by HS2 to deliver civil engineering works across an 80km section of the new high speed rail link between the Chiltern Tunnel and Long Itchington Wood.
We are looking to recruit a Sub Agent with Structures experience to join our Twyford to Greatworth (T2G) section in the Brackley area.
As a Sub Agent you will assist with the construction strategy, which includes kick-off meetings, pre-commencement documentation such as Method Statements, Environmental and Quality Plans, Construction programmes, procurement, and design deliverable schedules.
You will liaise with the Agent and Section Foreman to allocate labour, plant, materials, and temporary works to carry out the activities to the required standards, programme, and budget. You will also manage the site engineering team and be responsible for the performance and development of Site and Section Engineers.
You will assist with the coordination of construction operations, ensuring they conform to the contract requirements and the required level of safety, health, environment, and quality (SHEQ). You will also assist with the production of programmes, progress reports, resource and cost plans, and contribute to financial forecasting, site measurement, material reconciliations, and cost control.
About The Candidate
Key Skills and Qualifications:
1. HNC/Degree (Construction/Civil Engineering related) or equivalent.
2. Demonstration of knowledge and practical application of Site Engineering activities combined with construction supervision skills.
3. Experience of working on Structures.
You must hold the following competencies:
1. SMSTS
2. CSCS White; White-Yellow; Red - Experienced; Black - Manager or Gold - Supervisor
You must have a Driving License and access to a vehicle.
