Your new company
This is a 12-month FTC, paying £47-53,000 per annum. You will be working for a government body in Central London, as a generalist HR Business Partner. The role will interview the first week of January 2025 and will start immediately afterwards. The organisation has hybrid working, 35 hours per week, with 3 days in the office per week (HR anchor day is Wednesday). Candidates will ideally have extensive public sector experience.
Your new role
* Reporting to Senior HR Business Partner
* Provide essential BAU support to your directorate, while helping to guide the organisation through a period of change
* Note-taking during ER meetings and supporting to resolve investigations on a variety of cases including disciplinary, grievance, probation, capability
* Preparing Settlement Agreements
* Strong senior stakeholder management - influencing skills, hand holding some managers, advising and guiding key decision makers on HR strategy and best practice
* Build strong relationships with various trade unions, often owning the relationship during periods where cases can become complex.
* Write and prepare complex people-related paperwork for formal meetings etc.
What you'll need to succeed
Candidates will ideally come from public sector, with excellent experience of leading on complex ER. You must be able to start immediately, without a notice period.
