Partnership Sales Manager – England The European Tour group is one of the world’s pre-eminent golf organisations. We are responsible for running the world-famous DP World Tour, Legends Tour, Challenge Tour and G4D Tour (golf for the disabled). We also organise, alongside the PGA of America, golf’s greatest team contest - the Ryder Cup. About the role: Join our dynamic team and play a pivotal role in driving revenue for prestigious golf tournaments, specifically the Betfred British Masters and BMW PGA Championships. We are seeking a motivated Sales Manager with a passion for sports and a proven track record in sports right sales. Key Responsibilities: In this exciting role, you’ll be at the forefront of driving partnership (sponsorship) sales for the prestigious Betfred British Masters and BMW PGA Championships. Your mission? To identify and secure new Official Marketing Partner opportunities and Betfred British Masters sponsors’. Developing and implementing innovative sales plans for these high-profile tournaments will be a cornerstone of your responsibilities. You’ll engage in proactive outreach to target corporates, generating valuable meetings and leads, and building a robust network within the UK, especially in London, SE, and Midlands regions. Your role will also involve hosting potential partners at the Betfred British Masters and BMW PGA Championships, providing them with an exceptional experience that showcases the value of our partnerships. You’ll meticulously report and track all sales opportunities via Salesforce, ensuring alignment with the overall DP World Tour commercial strategy. Collaboration will be key to your success. You’ll work closely with the Revenue Operations Team, Championship Directors, and the DP World Tour Partnership Management Team. You’ll adapt and brief compelling sales decks and term sheets in conjunction with the Revenue Operations Team, and regularly meet with the Executive Commercial Director and the Commercial Partnership Sales Team to strategize and align efforts. Additionally, you’ll collaborate with the TCX hospitality sales team to ensure cohesive targeting and prospecting efforts. Flexibility is essential in this role, as weekend work and irregular hours may be required to meet the demands of our dynamic and fast-paced environment. This is a unique opportunity to leverage your sales expertise and passion for sports to drive significant revenue and make a lasting impact in the world of golf. Knowledge, Skills & Experience: The ideal candidate will have proven experience in sponsorship sales, ideally within the UK sports industry, and a strong background in B2B sales.
