We’re on the lookout for someone dynamic, hands-on and established within the world of Facilities and Office management, keen to take on a new challenge offering real scope and autonomy. This role is accountable for facilitating an optimal working environment for our colleagues across our head office, warehouses and stores, delivering clean and safe working spaces that are fully functioning and conducive to collaborative working.
Being a brilliant communicator is key in this role, as you will be the main point of contact for the facilities function, and will lead in ensuring all activity, issues and solutions are communicated to the right people at the right time.

What you can expect from the role…
* Effectively resolve or escalate maintenance issues using existing facilities management providers.
* Manage and monitor our broad scope of maintenance contractors, ensuring adherence to agreed service levels.
* Assist with sourcing and inducting new suppliers.
* Assist the security team in carrying out weekly building inspections at head office.
* Work closely with the Health and Safety function ensuring all works are carried out as directed in line with legal and statutory requirements.
* Support budgeting processes and actively control department costs, including the administration of invoicing and purchasing.
* Assist with the onboarding of new colleagues, providing building tours, and health and safety inductions where required.
* Ensure contractor details, insurance, RAMS are centralised and kept up to date.
* Provide monthly reports reviewing contractor performance against SLAs.
* Help mitigate business continuity issues, showing a degree of flexibility to get to a solution efficiently.
* Senior First Aider and Fire Warden – responsible for carrying out fire alarm testing and assisting with evacuation drills.

* Established in a facilities or buildings maintenance role.
* Experience managing external suppliers and contractors.
* Hands-on approach to delivering results.
* A fantastic communicator with a natural flair for building great relationships at all levels.
* The ability to prioritise well and manage a busy diary effectively.
* A resourceful and ‘can do’ mentality.
